This level of porting goes beyond the basic Bowl Port & Gasket Match including additional bowl area work & fully worked exhaust
port that is highly polished. The extent of the exhaust porting is done to maintain a 70-75% exhaust to intake flow balance. Note: Some applications require more extensive port work to
maintain this balance as some heads are exhaust limited, or due to the application such as supercharged or nitrous heads.
This porting could be described as street/strip port work and is typically
responsible for 50+ hp gains over the same unported castings. This porting level responds well to chamber porting & unlocks the head's full potential, as well as increases resistance to detonation.
